General Hospital Auxiliary Commits $216,000 Toward the Revitalization of Hospital Waiting Areas

The General Hospital Auxiliary has committed $216,000 to the Health Care Foundation toward the revitalization of hospital waiting areas at the Health Sciences Centre. The auxiliary has been active in the hospital for about 47 years now as both fundraisers and volunteers. Today, they fundraise the majority of their money through the operation of the Health Sciences Centre gift shop, which is run by both staff and volunteers.
