Celebrate and Honour

Donations to the Health Care Foundation make great gifts for birthdays and other special occasions. It’s also a great way to thank a member of Eastern Health’s medical team who made a difference in your care, or the care received by your loved ones.

Say I Care when you say I Do! Every decision you make in the months leading to your special day is a celebration of your values as a couple. The venue, style and fine details you choose for your wedding says a great deal about who you are, setting the stage for your lives together as a married couple. Your wedding day transforms your life - it can also help make a difference in the lives of others.

The I Do Program allows couples to give something back in the midst of so much love and is a meaningful way to recognize loved ones for sharing in such a special day.

Supporting the HCF’s adult health care programs is an inspiring testament to your love and devotion, as well as the causes you support.

The I Do Program offers different options for you to support adult health care in our province:

Goodwill Favors
In lieu of traditional wedding favors, choose to make a donation in honor of each of your guests – the most personal thank you they’ll ever receive. We will provide you with specially created materials to let your guests know about your generous gift.

Kisses for Care
Ask guests to make a donation to the HCF’s Comfort in Care™ program in exchange for a “just married” kiss! We will provide tent cards for each table to let your guests know about the Comfort in Care™ program and what their money will help fund.

Share the Love
Guests can make a donation in support of the HCF as their shower or wedding gift to you. Our staff will advise and guide your guest through the giving process.

We will maintain a list for you of all the donations made in your name, ensuring that you can thank all of your guests for supporting the HCF.
