For 20 years, Comfort in Care™ has supported frontline health-care teams in delivering meaningful enhancements that strengthen the experience of care for patients, residents, and families in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Through the program, teams across a wide range of care settings can apply for funding to support thoughtful initiatives that enhance comfort, emotional well-being, independence, communication, and connection.
Projects may include adaptive tools, sensory supports, comfort items, therapeutic resources, patient-centred technology, and other innovative solutions identified directly by those providing care every day.
Since its inception in 2005, Comfort in Care™ has provided more than $1.1 million in funding to initiatives throughout NL Health Services’ Eastern-Urban zone.

Deadline to apply is Friday, June 26, 2026.
