Comfort in Care
In times of sickness and distress, hospital patients often take great comfort in the little things, whether it is a nice cup of tea, a warm blanket or something to do to pass the time.
The Health Care Foundation fully understands the importance of patient comfort. In 2007, we established the Comfort in Care program to pay for comfort items that are not provided through existing hospital budgets.Through the support of our donors the Health Care Foundation has provided more than $70,000 to support patient comfort items.
