Annual Giving
The Health Care Foundation’s mail appeals make it easy to support adult health care in Newfoundland and Labrador. An appeal for donations is mailed three times per year to ask for help in purchasing medical equipment and patient care items for our hospitals. In November, we conduct our popular Tree of Memories appeal, which provides a special way for individuals and families to honour the memory of loved ones during the Christmas season.
The generosity of donors to our mail appeals enables the Health Care Foundation to continue its work of supporting the adult hospitals of the greater St. John’s area.

If you would like to donate, please fill out our most recent mail appeal and return it to our office.
Receipts for income tax purposes are issued promptly following a one-time gift and once a year for monthly gifts and gifts pledged over a period of time.
Please note that the Health Care Foundation does not conduct door-to-door canvassing, nor do we solicit donations by telephone.
