Urology
A fundraising partnership between the Health Care Foundation and the Newfoundland and Labrador Corvette Club is benefitting many patients of the Urology Clinic at the General Hospital. Proceeds from past Corvettes at the Keg events have purchased a Video Cystoscope System that allows Urologists to clearly see inside a patient's bladder. The video screen can also be viewed by the patient to help them more fully understand their bladder condition. It is also an excellent teaching tool for medical students. This is the first time this technology has been available in Newfoundland and Labrador.
