Funding Priorities
Donations to the Health Care Foundation have a real impact on patient care. In the next five years, the adult hospitals of St. John's face an urgent need of $90 million to replace existing medical equipment and technology. This is not a wish list. Rather, this need is for essential equipment to diagnose and treat patients. The Health Care Foundation works closely with our hospitals to ensure that donor funding is used wisely and efficiently to support high-priority needs.
Our hospitals cannot rely on government funding alone to meet these needs. Your support is necessary to help us bridge the gaps in funding and to ensure that patients have access to modern medical equipment.
