Comfort In Care Grants
In times of sickness and distress, hospital patients take great comfort in the little things, whether is it is a hot cup of tea, a warm blanket or something to do to pass the time. The Health Care Foundation recognizes the importance of patient comfort and has established the Comfort in Care Program to raise funds for comfort items that are not provided through existing hospital budgets. Comfort in Care grants are accessed by frontline hospital staff, through an application process, for items to benefit their patients. These funds come from the generosity of individual donors and sponsors.
