Grants & Scholarships
The Health Care Foundation is pleased to support grant and scholarship programs for health research and education. These grants are available to staff and physicians of Eastern Health who work in the adult hospitals in the St. John's region. We provide annual funding of $50,000 for the Health Care Foundation Health Research Grants and annual funding of $10,000 to fund five Health Care Foundation Staff Scholarships.
We also partner with Eli Lilly to fund a series of scholarships for people who have used the services of Eastern Health's Mental Health Program. The Moving Lives Forward Scholarships provide funding up to $500 toward tuition and textbooks for a post-secondary course. These scholarships are granted three times per year.
