Health Care Foundation Mission Statement
The Health Care Foundation engages the community in earning philanthropic support for the advancement of healthy living and health care in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. We do this by promoting awareness of, and funding for medical equipment, research, education and patient comfort in care items for adult health care in the five adult hospitals of St. John’s: the General Hospital, St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, the Waterford Hospital, the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre and the Dr. Walter Templeman Health Care Centre, which also provide tertiary and specialized care for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
